Pythian Castle, on Pythian Street, hosts daily history tours that are open to the public. Listed on the U.S. National Register of Historical Places in 2009, this local castle has its own fair share of history.
Originally a lodge for the Knights of Pythias, a fraternal order that was most popular in the early 20th century, the castle has served a variety of uses since it was built over 100 years ago. To find out more about its history, try going on one of its fascinating history tours.
