An Egg-cellent Quick Meal

College students are constrained to multiple schedules and eating three meals a day sometimes does not happen, resulting in a lack if important nutrients.  I interviewed Drury University sophomore Jasmine Chuah and asked her about quick fix for a delicious and budget-friendly dish.

Ingredients:

1 egg

1 slice of cheese

Cooked shredded chickenIngredients

Step 1:

Crack the egg into a microwavable mug and whisk.IMG_7515

Step 2:

Tear the slice of cheese into small pieces. Add those pieces and the shredded chicken to the egg in the mug and mix it all together.IMG_7517Step 3:

Next place the mug in the microwave and cook for 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds flip the egg and microwave for another 30 seconds, so that the egg is evenly cooked.

Step 4: 

Lastly, if wanted, add more chicken on top of the egg and a meal full of protein is ready in less than 2 minutes. IMG_7522
