Looking for fresh, local food? Check out the Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market.

In the southeast corner of the Battlefield Mall parking lot, more than 75 vendors come from 20 counties around southwest Missouri to sell fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and herbs.

With the exception of inclement weather, stalls will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays until Oct. 31. For updates and information on closings, send an email to info@springfieldfarmersmarket.com, or look up the group on Facebook.
