Drury’s Humanities Film Series presents ‘A Raisin in the Sun’

“A Raisin in the Sun” will be shown Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Moxie Cinema as part of the Drury’s Humanities Film Series.

The film, presented in conjunction with the Drury Humanities Division, will begin at 1 p.m.  Following the film, English professor Dr. Richard Schur will lead a discussion about the film.

The movie is set in 1950s Chicago and focuses on the Younger family who receives a large sum of money as an insurance payout. However, when the family receives the money turmoil ensues. Each member in the family has an idea of where the money should go, and they have to work as a family to reach the dreams they have.
