Do you love local beer and want a place to pre-party before Springfield’s First Friday Art Walk? Check out Mother’s Brewing Co.’s monthly First Firkin Fridays.
On the first Friday of each month, Mother’s taps a brand new firkin (that’s a tiny keg) of experimental beer. Recent beers include Salted Caramel Winter Grind, Maple Bacon Porter, and Blueberry Mandarin Summer Wit. The upcoming beer is yet to be announced.
The taproom opens at 4 p.m. for early revelers; the special firkin is tapped at 6 p.m. Food and special drink pricing are available.
