Grammy Award winning singer-songwriters Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle will be performing Sept. 9 at Gillioz Theatre. This concert is the part of their special tour “Songs and Stories, Together Onstage.”
Shawn Colvin is an American singer-songwriter who made her debut in 1989 with “Steady On.” Her debut album won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. In 1998, she won another Grammy Award for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year with her single “Sunny Came Home.”
Steve Earle is an American singer-songwriter who also works as a record producer, author and actor. He began his career as a songwriter in 1982 when he released his first EP. In 2005, he received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album with “The Revolution Starts…Now.” He also won Grammys for Best Contemporary Folk Album with “Washington Square Serenade” (2008) and “Towns” (2010).
